An accomplished New York metropolitan area technology executive who lives in Paramus, New Jersey, Fernando Mesa served as chief technology officer of New York City’s Mobile Strategies from 2013 to 2019. From his hometown of Paramus, he has worked extensively as a senior administrator within the greater New York City area, serving two years as chief architect and head of data science at Optymyze, and five years as chief technology officer for the enterprise sector at MarkLogic. Fernando Mesa’s work at MarkLogic revolved around the development and implementation of information technology growth strategy in areas that include cloud architecture, data warehousing, and big data analytics.

Before founding MarkLogic in 2008, Mr. Mesa served two years as vice president of enterprise architecture with the New Jersey offices of the UnitedHealth Group subsidiary i3 Global/Ingenix. This position placed him in charge of a technology portfolio that spanned five business units and more than 100 digital systems.
